When AI meets Adobe - The Creativity Unfolds

Artificial intelligence enabled voice assistant like Siri, Cortana and Alexa are doing great in the market and gaining more popularity among the mobile users. But, what happens when AI meets Adobe?

Adobe is currently developing a voice assistant that could edit the image using the speech recognition software and has released a video demonstrating what their voice assistant is capable of doing.

In the video, a man uses a voice assistant to the edit image - based on the voice command, the assistant crops and flips the image. In addition, it allows the user to share the final image on Facebook. Adobe reports that their research team is working on the software to accept voice instructions through on-device computing or cloud-based Natural Language understanding service.

The company considered the demo as the “first step towards a robust multimodal voice-based interface” and made clear that it is designed to search and edit images in Adobe mobile applications.

However, the company does not mention whether the voice assistant will be developed for web apps. Moreover, there is no announcement from Adobe whether they will roll out the voice assistant in 2017.
