Prisma’s Latest Update to have Photo Feed and Full Resolution Pictures

Prisma, the AI photo-editing software has had a great year. Now, with its latest features it just got even better.

Released in June, the app gained a huge traction among the users and received over 7.5 million downloads at the end of the first week of its launch. Instead of resting on its laurels, the company came up with new features that app previously lacked. Well! No wonder it is awarded the ‘App of the Year’ by both Google and Apple.

Prisma Gets Social Features

One of the greatest drawbacks of Prisma is that the artworks created by it, cannot be shared inside the app. Instead, the user has to share it on other social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.  But this time, Prisma is hoping to share the artwork inside the Prisma itself.

To make this possible, Prisma has incorporated exclusive tabs for ‘Profile’ and ‘Feed’. Profile lets you create your Prisma profile while Feed shows the location-based feed that algorithmically displays nearby pictures from other users. As the pictures get more likes, the algorithm rank increases, and the picture spreads further. Moreover, if you have posted a picture that went popular, your next post will likely to have a wider reach quickly.

Prisma Offers What Instagram has Rejected

Earlier this year, Instagram has rejected the Photo Map feature, stating that it wasn’t widely used by the audience. But, Prisma heads back to the map view for tracking the pictures shared around the world. With the interactive map, the user can tap on any location to view the pictures shared around the area.

Prisma Breaks the Biggest Limitation Ever

Prisma has set free it users from the 1.1 photo constraint and has incorporated an advanced cropping tool that enables for full-screen images. Further, Prisma has doubled its resolution from 1080X1080 pixels to a maximum of 2300 pixels, enabling for better-quality pictures.

You can try out the latest version of Prisma on Android and iOS now. But, unfortunately, the wider aspect ratio is limited to iOS for now and soon to be featured on Android devices.
