The Apple launches the new iOS 10 for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s and updated the Programming language, Swift which enables the iOS developer to work more flexibly and fun.

1. The Outlook

The sleek, stylish, and sexy iPhone 7 looks as awe as its predecessors, proving the luxury phone in the world. The body is 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm and weighs 138g comparatively lighter than that of 6s. It comes in vivid colors- Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. The paramount feature of the iPhone is that it is water and dust resistant up to 30 minutes with the aid of IP67. So, step out into the rain without getting petrified about your phones getting wet.

2. The Platform

The new iPhone 7 introduces iOS 10 and updated the programming language, Swift which enables the iOS developer  to develop their apps for iPhone and iPad. The swift programming language is a boon for the iOS developer to initiate their app development on iOS, OS x,watchOS and tvOS.

The performance has increased with the new built-in ARM chip, A10 fusion chip. It is a quad core processor, which has two high-performance cores for running performance-sensitive tasks, making it 40% faster than its predecessors and twice as fast as the iPhone 6.

The display is as same as that of iPhone 6s. The 4.7 inch screen gives a 1334 X 750 pixels resolution. A foremost change in the display is the touch-sensitive home button with haptic feedback. It comprises another two changes:

1. It measures the velocity. The pressure-sensitive home button is similar to the touchpad of the new Macbooks.

2. The last change in the iOS 10 is the swipe-to-unlock to press-to-unlock.


4. Dual Camera System

Due to the booming of the mobile photography era, the mobile camera quality has been upgraded vigorously. The new iPhone 7 has two 12MP primary cameras, one wide lens, and a telephoto lens. It provides a 2X quality zoom features and much wider depth of field. With the advent of f/1.8 aperture it is possible to get better low-light photographs.

The front camera offers a 7MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The key feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) helps to reduce blur during motion and hand shake. 5. Lightning Port

The 3.5mm audio jack is no more. Even the earphones have evolved into the air pods and the audio port as the lightning port. The lightning port connects the air pods, providing high-quality AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) audio to make calls, talk to Siri.



6. Wireless Air Pods

The first ever wireless Bluetooth earphone- Air Pods. The Apple’s idea of untangled earphones is overwhelming. Air pods are operated  by the custom designed Apple W1 chip. It comes with a wireless charging case. They offer up to 5 hours of listening on a single charge, talk with Siri with a double tap and automatically pair with all cloud-synced devices.


7. Battery Performance

The Apple iPhone 7 comes with the longest battery life among the iPhone series.

The battery will last two hours longer than that of iPhone 6s.The new A10 fusion chip uses two-third of the predecessor and significantly requires less power to run. Apple estimates 14 hours of wireless audio and 40 hours of audio playback.
